Dear Mountain Party Members, Rap, rap, rap! Do you recognize that sound? That’s the sound of OPPORTUNITY at the door. OPPORTUNITY, in the form of a great movie.... ”Fahrenheit 9/11.” Why is it an OPPORTUNITY?... Because it means throngs of people, concerned citizens just like you and me, who are thirsting for a change in government. Michael Moore’s movie sets the mood. It puts viewers in the right state of mind. It makes concerned citizens who embrace the constitution leave the theatres with a sense of purpose and with a desire to do something about the sad state of affairs in which we find our country right now. This is our OPPORTUNITY to recruit new party members, to register voters, to distribute campaign literature and to ask for donations. Let’s not waste this GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY. It may be the best opportunity we have. So, go to the movie, take a friend, and as soon as the movie is over-- get outside and hand out flyers as viewers leave. It is extremely important we do not waste this opportunity. The Democrats and Republicans are well organized this summer. It is time the Mountain Party gets more organized too. Let's be more than a party of idealists. Let's be a party of activists. The votes are there folks! But, we need each and everyone of you to do your part to help reach them.
