Mountain Party Candidates, 2008 

So far, four candidates have filed to run for office as Mountain Party candidates:

Berkeley County Commission- Klaus Heitmann
House of Delegates 30th District- John Welbourn
House of Delegates 51st District- Robin Mills
State Senate 11th District- Andy Waddell

Seven Candidates For The 2008 Green Nomination Will Be On State Ballots For The Primaries

The Virginia Green Party just received confirmation (late last night) that Ralph Nader will join West Virginia's Jesse Johnson and other presidential candidates to speak at the Green Party candidate forum this Saturday, February 2nd in Washington DC.  Nader is not a declared candidate. And so he is not speaking as a candidate. But he will speak after the declared candidates speak- much like at the CA debates a couple weeks ago.

This candidate forum is sponsored by the Green Party of VA, DC, and MD and the WV Mountain Party. There is no formal "admission charge", but voluntary contributions to help defray the costs of putting on the forum will be accepted.
